Boundary-defying British artist Tommy Four Seven has been a defining presence in international techno for over two decades. Renowned for his uncompromising taste and precision behind the decks, he has built a global reputation as a DJ and producer who moves fluidly between intensity, restraint and deep sonic narrative.

Equally at home in the studio, Tommy’s discography reflects a consistent drive to push techno beyond fixed templates. His debut album Primate fused off-kilter rhythmic structures with stripped-back four-to-the-floor minimalism, while its follow-up Veer pushed further into forceful, kinetic territory at the edges of techno. In 2023, his solo EP 47039 refined this language further, distilling rolling techno and broken-beat experimentation into a tightly controlled and nuanced release.

Beyond his own productions, Tommy’s curatorial vision has been central to his wider impact on the scene. His label 47, active for a decade, became a globally respected platform for forward-thinking techno, championing emerging artists such as Quelza, Tauceti and AgainstMe while also extending into a carefully curated series of international events. In 2025, 47 concluded with a final release and closing events, marking the end of a significant chapter.

That momentum now continues through 2 0, a collaborative label project launched in 2026. Structured as a series of paired releases, the project centres on close artistic exchange, bringing Tommy into dialogue with artists whose work has shaped different phases of his career. The first release features collaborations with JakoJako and Rrose. Future instalments extend the dialogue to Marcel Dettmann, Oscar Mulero, Donato Dozzy and Function, forming a layered series of exchanges across generations and perspectives within techno.
