KAS:ST is a techno group/act, producers and label owners consisting of members Karol Herse and Manuel Sene. Since its establishment in Paris, France, the group has quickly left a big impression on the techno scene. Their music can be described as taking listeners on a journey through techno music’s dark and gloomy emotions.

Manuel Sene was a professional football player for three years, playing for clubs such as Fc Istres and Nimes Olympique. He eventually left and moved to Paris, where he met Carol Herse. During this time, the duo performed under a different project name, Ka One & St-Sene, mostly house music. Eventually, the pair came in contact with the magical genre techno, which since the first contact became a solemn passion, so KAS:ST was born. During this time, the duo drew much inspiration from artists such as PVNV, AWB, Geinst, and Shlomo.

The duo launched the project by creating their electronic music label, Flyance Records, in 2014, which focuses on music genres such as Acid, House Music and Deep Techno. At the end of 2016, KAS:ST launched the first project on the label, a double EP called ‘Dysphoria I Euphoria’. The projects laid the groundwork for future releases. Three years later, in 2019, they released their first album, ‘ Road To Nowhere’ in October 2019, which consisted of tracks from a wide range of genres, such as industrial techno, drum and bass, trap, and symphonic tracks. The album showcased KAS:ST ability to bring innovation to the scene and is seen by many as a critical moment in their career and made big numbers on streaming platforms, such as Spotify and YouTube.

Besides releasing projects on their label, KAS:ST also has launched projects on other labels, such as Concrete Music, A.R.T.S, and Afterlife Records. On the last label, Afterlife Records which fellow industry colleagues Tale Of Us owns.
